A beyond-profit leader working at the intersections of ecological renewal, human wellbeing and social innovation, I’m an experienced project manager, community builder and social entrepreneur.

Taking a dynamic, regenerative and systems-based approach - and applying meaningful collaborative action and storytelling - I support purpose-driven organisations to connect, engage and innovate.

Inspired by natural systems, phenomenology and movement, my current work centres on the rights of nature, ecosystem restoration, place-based storytelling, eco-therapies and other nature-based solutions.

In response to our era of crisis and complexity, my approach draws on ecologically- and socially-embedded participation, collaborative sense-making and mindful practical action. All are geared to build strategic organisational resilience, innovation and growth.

Drawing on a multidisciplinary learning, this nature-based practice unlocks regeneration through collective, embodied movements towards key positive tipping points. Highly adaptive, the purpose is to fuel imaginative, emergent action.

Over 20 years in health, education and technology, I have worked with universities, NGOs and businesses in the UK, Europe, Africa and the Americas. I am lucky to have collaborated with brilliant, diverse people from Nobel-prize winners to indigenous communities.

Starting at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, I spent many years in research and development at Goldsmiths University of London, the Institute of Development Studies, UCL’s Institute of Education and the London Business School.

For over a decade, I provided fundraising, communications and programme management consultancy for NGOs and charities working in health, education and global development. These included Rethink Mental Illness, Variety Children’s Charity and Street Child.

After founding Project Cordillera, an award-winning social enterprise which later evolved into Wildside Journeys, I held senior roles in wellbeing technology in the US (Managing Director at Virtuagym) and public health policy in the UK (Enterprise Director at Active Devon).

With a BA in History and an MA in Politics & Anthropology (both University of London), I later trained in Social Enterprise Leadership (University of Cambridge), Systems Theory (ETH Zurich) and Human Centred Design (IDEO).

Further training includes Theory of Change (Acumen), Systems Practice (Omidyar), Storytelling for Change (Ariel), Sustainable Woodland Management (Centre for Alternative Technology), and Nature-Based Leadership (Green Minds).

In 2024 I received the Radical Seeds Fellowship awarded by Emergence Magazine (Kalliopeia Foundation), and in 2026 I studied Gandhian Ethics and Leadership with Vandana Shiva at Navdanya Earth University.

I maintain an experiential education through care, voluntary and expeditionary experiences, physical training, woodwork, and the study of ecological anthropology and socially innovative applications of ecology. I also love to climb, cycle, hike and play outside.
